The total amount of royalty payments made to the Exchequer to date in respect of production of gas from the Kinsale Head Gas Field is £12,095,105. £3,298,946 was paid in 1982; £5,440,538 was paid in 1983 and £3,355,621, the first of two instalments, has been paid to date in 1984.
