Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant and mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the amounts due; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A £1,000 new house grant was paid in this case on 27 August 1984. Payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy up to a maximum of £1,000 will be made in due course when the applicant submits the relevant claim form, duly certified.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the work has been inspected and passed.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the persons named. There is however, an application from persons with similar names and the same address. The grant in this case was paid on 12 July 1984.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as all works are completed.

The grant in this case was paid on 27 July 1984.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the application has been made for some time and all works are completed.

The grant was paid on the 23 August 1984.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment the money that has been provided by his Department for housing in County Donegal this year; if the complete allocation has been paid; and if not, when will it be paid.

The following allocations have been provided by my Department for housing in County Donegal this year:

None of these allocations has yet been expended in full. In accordance with established practice, instalments of funds from the Local Loans Fund are being paid throughout the year as the need arises.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan will receive the first instalment of his mortgage subsidy.

The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy amounting to £577 was paid in this case on 31 January 1984 and the second instalment of £578 was paid on 23 August 1984.

355.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a new house grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a new house grant application from the person named.
