Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Education the progress that has been made in relation to the provision of a new vocational school in Carrick, County Donegal.

The position in relation to the proposed new building at Carrick vocational school is that my Department have approved the preparation of bills of quantities and tender documents for the project. Submission of these items by the County Donegal Vocational Education Committee is now awaited.

asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the provision of new classrooms at Carrick national school, Carrick, County Donegal.

My Department have asked the Commissioners of Public Works to arrange with the school authorities for the submission of sketch plans for the proposed extension to Carrick national school, County Donegal.
