Limerick East): This is an application for registration of title, based on possession, under section 49 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964. The application was originally lodged in the Land Registry on 29 December 1983 but because a query raised by the registrar was not discharged within the time allowed, the application was treated as having been abandoned on 20 June 1984. It was subsequently relodged in the Land Registry on 3 August 1984.
Applications such as this are usually of a complex nature and require extensive examination of title, often involving prolonged correspondence with the applicant's solicitors. It is not possible to say at this stage if or when registration will be effected.
