Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Health whether his Department intends to make any changes to the present facilities available in Donegal District Hospital, Donegal town, which would cause a downgrading of services now being provided; the nature of such changes; and when it is intended to bring these into operation.

The North-Western Health Board have responsibility in the first instance for the provision of services in Donegal District Hospital. The board has not submitted any plans to change the facilities which are currently available in this hospital.
