Vol. 353 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tax Demand.

585.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a tax demand was sent to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford as this person has been drawing unemployment benefit for two years.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that there is tax outstanding in this case for all years from 1975-76 to date. The inspector of taxes has not been aware that the taxpayer has been in receipt of unemployment benefit and he will communicate directly with him in the matter.
