Contract documents for stage 1 of the Enniscorthy main drainage scheme are with my Department. I understand, however, that the local authority have yet to complete their negotiations for the acquisition of the necessary sites, changes in the location of which are likely to require alterations in the plans. Pending the outcome locally further consideration of the proposal by my Department has to be deferred.
