Vol. 354 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Carlow School.

622.

asked the Minister for Finance when the outstanding grants owed by his Department to Ballinabrannagh national school will be paid; and the reason there has been such a long delay in the payment of this grant.

All grant moneys due to the manager of Ballinabrannagh national school, County Carlow, in respect of the extension to the school have now been paid. A very small sum will be payable when certain defects in the mechanical and electrical installations, which have been brought to the attention of the manager, have been made good.

Delay in payment of the grant was occasioned by the necessity to agree the details of the final account and also due to the volume of work in the schools' division of the Office of Public Works.
