Monaghan County Council have not submitted proposals to my Department in respect of local authority housing at Silverstream. The council have, however, submitted a tender analysis in respect of a scheme in the same general area at Tyholland. This submission is made in accordance with existing procedures with a view to obtaining my approval to unit cost in the tender which has been recommended to the council for acceptance. The matter is currently under consideration in my Department.
