(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

A new house grant will be paid to the person named when an inspection establishes that the house is complete and occupied and complies all other conditions of the grant scheme. The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report.

This applicant has been requested to submit further documentation to complete his application for a new house grant. When this is received, the file will be referred to my Department's inspector for a report with a view to the allocation and payment of a grant, if in order.

An inspection will be carried out in this case as soon as possible with a view to payment of the grant approved, if in order.
