asked the Minister for Health if he will provide funds to replace or repair vital equipment which has broken down at the county hospital, Bantry, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have provided a grant totalling £50,000 to the Southern Health Board for the provision of new and replacement items of equipment in the boards' hospitals including the provision of a replacement ECG machine at Bantry general hospital.
