Vol. 354 No. 12

Written Answers. - Cork Voluntary Hospitals.

190.

asked the Minister for Health the provision he intends to make for the pathology services for the Cork voluntary hospitals, and when work will commence on a new laboratory.

A project team representative of the Cork Voluntary Hospitals Board and my Department have been considering the requirements for a central laboratory for the voluntary hospitals in Cork and are now completing the preparation of a planning brief for the project. At this stage, given the further planning to be completed, it is not possible to indicate when construction work will begin.
