Vol. 354 No. 13

Excess Votes, 1980-81. - Appropriation Bill, 1984: First Stage.

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to apply certain sums out of the Central Fund to the service of the years ended on the 31st day of December, 1980 and the 31st day of December, 1981, and to appropriate to the proper supply services and purposes sums granted by the Central Fund (Permanent Provisions) Act, 1965 and to make certain provisions in relation to certain borrowings.

If I may be permitted to do so, I should like to draw the attention of the House to a printers' error in section 2 subsection (2).

Would the Minister wait until the Bill is circulated?

It has been circulated.

We have the Bill.

Everyone has a copy.

You do not expect the Clerk of the Dáil to go into the corridors of the Dáil and the highways and byways to get it.

I want, with your permission, Sir, to draw the attention of the House to a printers' error in section 2, subsection (2), line 35, which should read one hundred and eight rather than one hundred and eighty. The correction has been made in manuscript on the copy circulated to the House.

Question put and agreed to.
