Vol. 355 No. 1

Written Answers. - Milk Quota.

569.

Mr. O'Keeffe

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will have the milk quota raised for a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

As the details supplied would indicate that this person had higher deliveries of milk in 1983 than either in 1981 or 1982, under the regulations he is not entitled to qualify for any of the additional quota available for the disease category. Any question of granting a temporary allocation to the producer mentioned out of such "flexi-milk" as might be available in his co-operative, after the priority claimants for use of "flexi-milk" had been catered for, would be a matter for that co-operative.
