The Froebel College of Education is paid an annual capitation grant by my Department. The rate of grant was last revised in respect of the 1981-82 academic year.
The amount of the college fee payable by students is a matter for the college authorities. I am given to understand that the fees charged are in line with those in the other colleges of education which were increased by about 95 per cent since 1981-82.
