A recent application to my Department for assistance towards the provision of an additional classroom to Cloghan boys' national school, Birr, County Offaly, was discussed in December last with the school authorities by my Department's inspector, whose report on enrolment trends and the long term accommodation needs of this school is under consideration. My Department will convey a decision in the matter to the school authorities as soon as possible.
