Primary responsibility for the enforcement of planning control rests with the appropriate planning authority. However when the matter referred to was brought to my attention in correspondence received from a local resident's association, I had inquiries made of the planning authority, Dublin County Council, as to the action taken or proposed by them. I have since been assured by the council that they are taking the necessary enforcement action.
