asked the Minister for the Environment the number of persons to date in each county who have availed of the subsidy for purchase of developed sites from local authorities as outlined in Building on Reality, 1985-1987.

The information requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department. However, the number of developed sites in each local authority area for which subsidy has been claimed up to 28 January 1985 will be included in the Official Report in the form of a table.

Has the Minister received any indication from local authorities as to what type of reception this plan received, whether there was much demand for it or were there many inquiries following publication of the plan? There must have been some feedback on it.

We have not had any official feedback on it yet.
