Vol. 355 No. 10

Written Answers. - Electricity Allowance.

435.

asked the Minister for Energy the circumstances surrounding the refusal on an EC electricity allowance to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon in respect of his existing house.

I understand from the ESB that the person referred to by the Deputy sought assistance towards the cost of provision of an electricity supply to a local authority house of which he is the tenant. There is no provision in the programme for western development for awarding grants in cases where supply is required for local authority housing.
