Vol. 355 No. 10

Written Answers. - IDA Grant Assistance.

438.

asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism (1) the number of Irish citizens between the ages of 18 and 25 who applied for IDA grants in 1983; (2) the number of these applications which were successful; (3) the total sum of money allocated to this group of people; and (4) the percentage this grant aid represents in relation to the total IDA grant aid in 1983.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the information sought by the Deputy is not available as statistics are not compiled related to age groups applying for grant assistance.
