Set out hereunder is the information sought in respect of the years ended 31 December 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983, the latest date for which such information is available. The information has been gathered from returns furnished by Galway County Council to my Department. The term clerical staff is taken to relate to clerical/administrative staff (i.e. Grades I-VII) employed by Galway County Council, on the dates in question, both in a permanent and temporary capacity.
