Vol. 356 No. 1

Written Answers. - Sale of Pharmaceutical Products.

493.

asked the Minister for Health if he will supply details of pharmaceutical products for human use currently on sale in Ireland whose sale has been banned in other member states of the European Community and in the United States and Canada; the reasons for the prohibition of their sale abroad; and if he will be taking similar action on the home front.

As far as I am aware, there are no pharmaceutical products on sale in this country which have been banned in other member states of the European Community and in the United States and Canada.

If the Deputy wishes to supply details of any product with which he is concerned, I will be glad to have the matter investigated.
