The rate of the annual capitation grant payable to the Froebel College of Education, Blackrock, is kept under review on a regular basis having regard to the college's annual running costs and to policy on the recruitment of students to the colleges of education for primary teachers. The question of a possible increase in the rate of capitation grant is under consideration.
