Aid under the farm modernisation scheme is made available only in respect of investment which is listed on the applicant's farm plan and for which prior written approval has been given by the farm development service. A bulk tank was not listed on this person's farm plan until 26 April 1983 by which time aid under the scheme for bulk milk tanks was no longer available. Consequently the bulk tank in question is not eligible for aid.
