Vol. 356 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Central Bank Report.

11.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is satisfied that the annual report of the Central Bank of Ireland will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas in 1985 as required by statute.

Is the Minister satisfied, now that the staff of the Central Bank are back at work, that no damage whatever has been done to that institution due to the lengthy dispute that took place recently? Is the Minister satisfied that the bank has now returned to normal and that all the functions it carried out heretofore are being carried out in an orderly fashion? Is the Minister satisfied that damage has not been done to that institution?

That seems to be a separate question.

It does not arise from my reply. There are questions on the Order Paper on the same subject.
