Officials of my Department have already met officials of the Derry Port and Harbour Commissioners about repairs to Moville Pier and the matter is now being pursued in correspondence. There is no arrangement at present for a further meeting with the harbour commissioners.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry when improvement work will commence on Portnablagh Pier, County Donegal, as the local authority have already paid their contributions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I am making an allocation from the 1985 Vote for Fisheries towards the cost of surfacing the pier at Portnablagh, County Donegal.
