Vol. 356 No. 7

Written Answers. - Chief State Solicitor's Office.

473.

asked the Taoiseach the number of solicitors employed in the Dublin District Court section of the Chief State Solicitor's office on 1 January for each of the last five years.

The number of solicitors employed in the Dublin District Court section of the Chief State Solicitor's Office on 1 January for each year of the last five years was as follows: 1981, 13; 1982, 12; 1983, 11; 1984, 10; 1985, 7.

The reduction in the number of solicitors employed in the Dublin District Court arises from the redeployment of solicitors in that section to duties in other sections of the office.
