Vol. 356 No. 12

Written Answers. - County Tipperary Cable Television Systems.

476.

asked the Minister for Communications when cable TV will be made available under the recently granted franchise to viewers in the Cashel and Tipperary areas of County Tipperary.

Letters of intent to issue licences have been issued to two companies in respect of the provision of cable television systems for Cashel and Tipperary. Licences will be issued when the terms attached to the letters of intent have been complied with and both companies have indicated that they expect to be able to begin cabling in the towns in July.
