Mr. Molloy

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give details of the membership of each semi-State and State-sponsored body under his aegis including the names, period of appointment and remuneration to date including all expenses and any other payment.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Deasy)

Following is the information requested. The information included in column 4 is the fee, if any, payable in respect of board membership. In addition members of boards are paid normal expenses in respect of travel, subsistence and other necessary expenses, incurred arising from board membership. As payment of such expenses is a matter for each body, the amounts paid to individual board members are not available.
