I already replied to a similar question from the Deputy on 23 April 1985. Three additional applications have been approved for grants under the enterprise allowance scheme since that date.
My prime objective is to ensure that employment and training schemes administered by my Department and its agencies are run effectively and efficiently with no undue delay to the public. It will be appreciated, therefore, that it would not be possible to achieve this objective if resources had to be diverted to provide the information required by the Deputy on a weekly basis.
