asked the Minister for Health the amount of money allocated through the ESF for rehabilitation purposes in the years 1983, 1984 and 1985.

asked the Minister for Health the amount of money allocated through the ESF for rehabilitation purposes to each health board in the years 1983, 1984 and 1985 and the amount allocated to voluntary organisations in 1983, 1984 and 1985.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 617 and 618 together. The following table details the amounts of moneys applied for from the European Social Fund in the years 1983 and 1984 by each health board, by the National Rehabilitation Board/National Medical Rehabilitation Centre, by private bodies and by voluntary organisations; the amounts paid to date and the balances outstanding. The question of the payment of the outstanding balances has yet to be determined by the Commission of the European Communities. No decisions have yet been-taken on the 1985 applications to the fund.
