asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of road grant commitments notified to Galway County Council and Galway Corporation for improvement of specific roads in 1985.

The following are the details requested: 1. Galway County Council—N6 Oranmore By-Pass, £1,500,000; N6 Ballinasloe Relief Road, £70,000; N6 Hard Shoulders (locations to be agreed), £100,000; N17 Tuam/Milltown, £150,000; N18 Ardrahan, £150,000; N59 Oughterard/Maam Cross (locations to be agreed), £300,000; N59 Clifden Approach Road, £100,000; N64, Claregalway/Oranmore, £200,000; N65 Portumna (including bridge), £125,000; N59 Moycullen Street, £40,000; Maam Bridge, £100,000; R336 and R340 Strengthening (agreed locations), £265,000; R358 Ballinasloe (agreed locations), £20,000; Garraun Level Crossing, £30,000.

2. Galway Corporation—N6 Corrib Bridge and Approaches, £2,500,000; N6 Moneenageesha Cross, £100,000.

Additional provisions have been made for improvements at unspecified locations.
