The design for this scheme has been approved by Galway County Council subject to conditions, including the laying of increased pipe sizes in certain sections of the scheme. My Department's local inspector will shortly discuss the council's requirements with the group and will advise them to seek tenders for the construction of the scheme. I cannot say at this stage when grants may be allocated for this scheme.
