Vol. 359 No. 3

Written Answers. - County Cork Industrial Development.

285.

asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism the plans, if any, he has for the creation of industrial jobs in south-west Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority is actively promoting south-west Cork for suitable industrial development.

The IDA has nearly 130 acres of land available for industrial development in seven towns in south west Cork. In addition, it has also available for industrial development a 24,000 sq.ft. advance factory and two privately financed small industry units in Bantry, two small industry units in Dunmanway and three small industry units nearing completion in Skibbereen.
