The architectural planning of the new national school at Ballyheda, Ballinhassig, County Cork, is now at an advanced stage. Working drawings have been completed and my Department has asked the Commissioners of Public Works to proceed with the preparation of the bills of quantities. When the bills have been completed, the question of inviting tenders for the project will be considered. It is not possible at this stage to say when construction work on the project may commence.
