(Limerick East): There are no proposals at present to provide additional Garda stations in County Dublin. On the question of increasing contact between the Garda and local communities, however, I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Questions Nos. 403 and 404 on 13 December 1984 in which I indicated that the question of establishing “police points” or “police clinics” would be further considered. I an informed by the Garda authorities that the possibility of providing such a facility in some suburban areas of County Dublin is being examined at present.
