(Limerick West) asked the Taoiseach if the EC stipulation that depreciation values for machinery and buildings be calculated on the replacement cost basis has been adhered to in our statistical return to the farm accountancy data network.

An Foras Talúntais is responsible for the detailed implementation of the farm accountancy data network in Ireland. It is understood that the EC guidelines are adhered to by An Foras in this matter.
