asked the Minister for Finance the total cost of the construction of the new visitors' entrance to the Public Gallery in Leinster House; the reasons the entrance is not being used; when it is expected that it will be in use; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is estimated that the final cost of the new visitors' entrance and associated works will be in the region of £233,000. The question of use of the visitors' entrance is a matter for the Leinster House authorities.
