asked the Minister for Health if the hospital on Valentia Island received an increased allocation from the health board for the current year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The allocation approved by the Southern Health Board for Valentia hospital in 1984 and 1985 was £45,378 and £55,000 respectively. In addition funds amounting to £14,588 were made available to the hospital by the board in 1984 to clear certain accumulated deficits.
