asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection of the proposed extension of his house will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the contractor is ready to commence work.

An inspection will be carried out in this case as soon as possible with a view to the allocation of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny so that he can commence work on the reroofing of his house.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the final inspection will tion for a new house grant will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if prior notification can be given as both he and his wife work.

When the person named submits a site location map, which was requested by my Department on 30 January 1984 and form SL4 (tax certificate) in respect of his spouse, an inspection, by appointment, will be arranged with a view to allocation and payment of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will receive an inspection in respect of his house improvement grant as he is waiting to commence work.

The application in this case was received on 22 May 1985 and an inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection of her house will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in respect of a reconstruction grant as she applied some time ago.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who applied for a grant for a roof on a dwelling house four weeks ago can have an immediate inspection as the contractor is ready to commence work.

An inspection will be carried out in this case as soon as possible with a view to allocation of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cavan will receive a home improvement grant.

I would refer the Deputy to the information conveyed to him in this case in my Department's letter of 4 February 1985. Grants totalling £507 were subsequently paid on 28 February 1985. Pending completion of an investigation in relation to the standard of roofing used by the applicant, it is not possible to indicate at this stage whether a further grant payment will be made.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying a £1,000 grant to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan.

There has been no undue delay in dealing with this case. The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a final inspection for a house improvement grant will be made and final payment issued to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

An inspection will be carried out as soon as possible in this case with a view to payment of the grant approved, if in order.

38.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a home improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The approval of a grant has been deferred in this case pending the submission of evidence of planning permission for the works. This evidence was requested from the applicant on 9 November 1983 and the Deputy was informed of the position on 5 December 1983.
