Vol. 359 No. 8

Written Answers. - Bishopstown (Cork) Second Level Schools.

83.

asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the problem created for secondary school students in the Bishopstown area of Cork who cannot get places in the second level schools in the area.

I understand that a very small number of boys have so far not obtained a place in a second level school in the Bishopstown area. I am having this matter investigated by my Department. One of the reasons for the shortage of places is that pupils from other areas go to Bishopstown.
