A remedial teaching post for the school in question was sanctioned by my Department in November 1982. The school has had the services of a remedial teacher since February 1983. An application for a second remedial post for the school was made in May 1984. The application has not, to date, been placed sufficiently high in order of priority of educational need to warrant the allocation of a second post. The application will, however, be further considered in the light of the availability of further remedial posts.
