Exports of timber in log form amounted to 3,022 tonnes in 1984. Imports of soft-wood (i.e. conifer) amounted to 169,076 tonnes and imports of sawn timber in plank form (conifer and non-conifer) amounted to 220,524 tonnes for the same period.
