The planning of the proposed extension to Bunacurry national school is in the hands of an architect in private practice who has been engaged by the manager of the school. The manager's architect was authorised to invite tenders for the project in February 1985 and these were forwarded to the Office of Public Works in May 1985. The Office of Public Works have completed their examination of the tenders. If and when the approval of the Department of Education is received a contract will be placed. This is expected at an early date.
