asked the Minister for Justice if a Garda report has been made available to his Department indicating that the Garda did not request or obtain particulars of visitors to Deputy Gregory-Independent in Dáil Éireann.

Limerick East): As the subject matter of the question is basically concerned with an aspect of the administration of Leinster House, I would consider it inappropriate, as a matter of principle, to comment. It appears to me that any inquiry as to whether or not particulars of the kind mentioned in the question were made available should be put to the Leinster House authorities, including if necessary the Committee on Procedure and Privileges.
