In the 1985 Estimates the Government allocated £650,000 for voluntary bodies in the social services area. Following consultation with the health boards and consideration of the projects for which help was sought grants amounting to £491,545 were made as set out in the following tables. The voluntary bodies concerned have been notified. Decisions in relation to the allocation of the remaining £158,455 will be made shortly and all the voluntary bodies from whom applications have been received will be notified of the outcome of their application in due course.
