asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position concerning the proposed new all Irish school for Tallaght.

A proposal to provide permanent accommodation for Scoil Santain the all Irish national school, by way of rationalisation of the primary school accommodation generally in the Tallaght area is being considered by the management authorities of the schools concerned, in consultation with the diocesan education authorities.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position in relation to the proposed new regional technical college for Tallaght.

A site has been acquired for the proposed regional technical college at Tallaght and consultants have been appointed. Following consultation with County Dublin VEC, in regard to the schedule of courses for the college it is expected that architectural planning will commence in the near future.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position in relation to the provision of a second all Irish school in the west Tallaght area of Dublin 24.

A new all Irish school in west Tallaght, Gaelscoil Náisiúnta Caitlín Maude, commenced operation on 2 September 1985. The school is being accommodated in Brookfield NS premises.
