asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has in relation to proposals for the provision of additional accommodation in County Clare vocational schools, especially in Scariff and Kilrush.

The information requested by the Deputy is contained in a tabular statement which will be circulated in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

Present Position

1. Kildysart,

No projects in progress under consideration

Ennistymon

2. Killaloe

Tender for entire new school approved 24 September 1985

3. Kilmihil

Tender for extension approved 27 September 1985

4. Ennis

Number of pupil places to be provided at the proposed extension at the vocational school requires to be reviewed in the light of 1985-86 statistical data.

5. Scariff

Application by VEC for permanent extension under consideration

6. Kilkee

Department have intimated to the VEC and the voluntary secondary school managements that a single school development would be the most appropriate for the centre. The matter is still under consideration

7. Kilrush

Situation the same as for Kilkee.

Arising from the Ministers reply——

Let us not have an argument. After many efforts we established that we do not have supplementary questions on tabular statements. I argued that out with the Leader of your party here and I will not change my view.

There are just two schools involved.

I will not allow it.

The problem is that the Deputy requested a tabular statement.

I will not have an argument or supplementary questions on a tabular statement.

On a point of order, there was no request for a tabular statement.

Will the Minister please answer Question No. 7?
