asked the Minister for Labour if he will detail all training and related schemes that are funded directly or indirectly from his Department.

The following training and related schemes are funded directly or indirectly by the Department of Labour.

1. Department of Labour — National Manpower Service:

—Teamwork,

—Work Experience Programme,

—Enterprise Allowance Scheme,

—Social Employment Scheme,

—Employment Incentive Scheme.

2. Youth Employment Agency:

—Community Enterprise Programme,

—Youth Self Employment Programme,

—Market Place,

—Young Scientists and Technologists Employment Programme,

—Farm Relief Services,

—ACOT Certificate in Farming,

—Career Vision,

—Miscellaneous grants to voluntary and community groups, in respect of the training and employment of young people.

3. AnCO:

—Training in Training Centres, including Apprenticeships,

—External Training,

—Community Youth Training Programme,

—Community and Travellers Training Workshops,

—Alternance Programme for the long term unemployed.

In addition AnCO assists the training of employed people in industry. The assistance includes the technical assistance grants scheme and the levy grants scheme which operate in seven designated sectors.

4. CERT:

—School Based Training,

—Unemployed Training,

—Industry Based Training.

5. IMI:

The Irish Management Institute is paid a grant by the Department in support of management training programmes.
