The Insurance Corporation of Ireland plc was placed under administration by order of the High Court on 15 March 1985. Under the relevant legislation, all functions which are vested in the directors of the company are performable only by the administrator. As the board of directors of the company is now defunct I do not propose to make any appointments to it.
